Green Haired Necklace

This pendant captures the independance of slaves in France in 1794, as well as the strong feminist movment that was started around that time. The woman with the green hair and dark skin wears a corset;  She sits there looking ready for the future, and to continue the battle for the rights of the lesser known. Resin cameo on a brass pendant and chain. Pendant measures about 50mm x 40mm, chain is 20 inches.

Comes in a lovely embossed box with patterned fabric, makes a great gift!
