Who are we?
Laura Galbraith, hailing from Miami, has lived in Brooklyn for 7 years now. Influenced by Caribbean and art deco, Laura loves to draw dream-like experiences, fashion sketches, hand-lettering, and any challenge that arises! After moving to Baltimore, she attended MICA where she graduated with a BFA, majoring in Illustration and Interactive Media. Her artwork has been featured in various other galleries and blogs outside and around the web. She loves bright art-deco inspired colors, inky lines, and has an unusual addiction to french macarons.
Nate Bear, a New York native, is an illustrator known for creating dynamic and playful cartoon imagery. Inspired by John K and other amazing animators, he channels the energy and playfulness of classic cartons and comics into a 21st century world full of blips, bleeps, and pixels galore. Nate earned his BFA in Fine Arts from New York City’s own School of Visual Arts. He's also spent some time in New Jersey cultivating his skills and learning about natural and organic foods.
When these two artists got together, they decided to create useful everyday fun products out of their artwork, taking the two dimensional and incorporating it into the third dimension! Thus, EyeHeart.Us was born! Not only do we create products, but we also illustrate for publications, products, and in gallery shows! We try our best to buy all of our supplies locally, and use environmentally friendly practices when creating our products.
